I have over 15 years of experience teaching English and Spanish and three Degrees!

Hello! I am Vicky Teran, I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a PhD degree in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh. I have over 15 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to adults and University/College students, with an emphasis on conversational English as well as international exams like IELTS and TOEFL. I have a passion for teaching and my methodology relies on the best practices of different methods with a focus on the communicative approach. I love to help students meet their goals, helping them build from the level they have and from the mistakes they make. Mistakes are part of learning a second language and I capitalize them rather than get angry at them.
