As a private tutor, my approach is based on adapting the lessons to the specific needs and goals of each student, ensuring a comfortable, dynamic, and focused learning environment. Here's how I work and the techniques I use:
Personalized approach: Before starting, I conduct an initial assessment to understand the student's knowledge level, strengths, and areas for improvement. From there, I design a curriculum tailored to their particular needs.
Active learning: I prefer my lessons to be interactive, encouraging the student to participate actively. This is achieved through questions, debates, practical exercises, and tasks applied to real-life contexts, which helps consolidate learning.
Use of multimedia resources: I use videos, presentations, and online tools to make lessons more engaging and facilitate the understanding of abstract concepts. This also encourages visual and auditory learning.
Positive reinforcement and motivation: I always aim to create an environment of trust where the student feels comfortable making mistakes, as I believe that mistakes are valuable learning opportunities. Praising achievements and maintaining a positive attitude is key to keeping motivation high.
