About Me
I hold a Master of Arts from King's College London and have extensive experience teaching Greek to non-native speakers, as well as English as a second language.
In Greece, I am certified with the 'eparkeia', a proficiency diploma from the University of Michigan, allowing me to teach English to Greek speakers. Since 2018, I have helped students of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds master the Greek language.
Beyond teaching, I’m a language enthusiast myself. Over the years, I’ve explored 7 foreign languages, which also enables me to teach Greek to Spanish speakers.
About the Lessons
Hello everyone! I’m from the island of Crete, and I’m a passionate Modern Greek tutor, offering engaging and tailored online lessons for adults and teenagers looking to master Greek as a foreign language.
Whether you’re a complete beginner (A0-A1) or an advanced learner aiming to refine your everyday communication skills, my classes are fully adapted to your needs and goals. My approach is all about natural language learning (learning by doing)—fostering continuous interaction in Greek, immersing in culture (history, art, food, music, etc.), and guiding you toward independent study.
I teach adults and teenagers, both individually and in groups. My teaching style strikes a balance between structured and playful—yes, Greek can be challenging, but I’ll make sure it’s fun and rewarding! I use a rich selection of grammar and syntax materials, drawing from the best Greek learning textbooks and my own resources. Lessons include listening and speaking exercises, interactive dialogues, cognitive drills, working with real texts, and, of course, some work to do at home.
I’d love to connect and discuss your learning interests and goals. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
