Hello, my name is Sinethemba Khumalo, and I bring over three years of experience in English language teaching. I began my journey as an English teacher assistant in 2020, working closely with students and fellow educators to create an engaging learning environment. My experience during this period allowed me to develop strong foundational skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and interactive teaching techniques. In 2023, I transitioned to self-employment as an online English teacher, where I continue to help young learners build essential language skills. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, which further enriches my ability to incorporate structured, effective learning strategies into my lessons.This academic experience has taught me how to approach complex subjects methodically, a skill that I find invaluable in teaching. Although my degree is not directly related to language teaching, it has instilled in me a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly—skills that are crucial for a successful teaching career. Outside of teaching, I am deeply interested in cultural exchange, language learning and educational technology. These interests not only enhance my teaching approach but also allow me to connect with students on a more personal level, fostering a more engaging and effective learning.
