Hi, I'm Simon Reeve, I have a first class degree in Music Production from York St. John University. I have been working on, releasing and engineering music for the last 4 years with a total of 6 years experience, being lucky enough to engineer in Abbey Road Studios. I have also worked alongside the BBC Introducing team for the last year, producing the 'Balcony Sessions', and toured the world as a DJ for Formula One. Logic Pro is my specific tool of choice for this, but I am flexible for other music-making software.
I have some experience in teaching others about the processes in music production, and want the knowledge to be available to others who are interested in this 'dark art'. Organising classes for students is completely flexible as it can be understood nowadays that skillsets may vary due to the internet. Whatever level you're at, whether you need confirmation of your techniques, or are a complete beginner I am more than happy to tailor classes to help each student.
This will likely be in 'micro-masterclasses', where students can bring their own work, ideas and questions which we can work through in a session. I will do these through screen-share systems and audio stream services such as Audio-Movers, ensuring that a student can really understand what is going on and is involved in the process.
