About me

PHP/JS web dev & professor with 15 YoE in all levels of teaching here to help

Hi, I am Petar Prvulović - a teacher and a web developer with 15 years of experience in both fields. I believe that a good teacher has to be a hood craftsman aswell so I keep both careers active. I teach regurarly at university - a broad set of topics, with focus on web development in php stack. I also do some classes in high school, for fun mostly. During these long 15 hears I spent over 5000 hours in classroom, working with students aged 14 to 70. My classes are often commented as 'interesting, live, good vibe, positive' in end-of-the-year surveys. Do not hesitate to ask and propose busines ideas as I am open to opportunities and it wouldn't be the first case of helping people on startups in early stage. In 1 on 1 teaching I tend to get to know the student first - to see where are you now, where you want to be and why - in order to prepare the best suiting course and examples as close to your interests and goal as possible. I prefer to work on an example through the lesson - to show you how it'a done. Don't expect me to read you the documentation page by page,slide by slide - that part is up to you, after I show you how to use it on your own. Everyone has to make some baby steps first but at some point has to let go and run free. If not obvious by now - I prefer long term commitment, working regurarly once or twice a week, with some tasks for you to work on your own between classes and build something nice, step by step.
