French Teacher who lived 8 years abroad. All profiles are welcome!

Hello! I'm Pauline! After years abroad, I came back to France in 2020 and I now live in the South of France with my family. I got my Masters Degree in Pedagogy and Didactics in French as a Foreign Language from Bordeaux University in 2016 and I have taught French in the United States, Tanzania, Denmark and in France. In my 8 years of experience, I've always loved teaching to multiple profiles : kids, students, expats, hospitality workers or international relations officials (face-to-face, online classes or tutoring sessions). I was lucky enough to meet with people from different countries and backgrounds who had different expectations for our classes together: some needed help to prep for an exam, others wanted to improve their skills to be able to travel to France and order a coffee. I like to focus my lessons around a news topic and then develop vocabulary and a grammar notion. Of course, it is very important to me to understand the objectives of my students and how much time they have for that goal so I can teach accordingly. I always do my best to be flexible and adapt to my students' needs in order to make them improve and feel the results quickly.
