About me

Hi, my name is Patrizia and I've been teaching Italian and English for many years. I spent 18 years in London where I got an MA at Birkbeck College and worked as an Investment Consultant for the Italian Trade Commission. My students are from different age groups: from secondary school teenagers to professional adults willing to improve their language skills. My approach is simple and effective. After a first lesson in which we get to know each other and discuss objectives, I devise a teaching strategy based mainly on three points. 1. Conversation: how to understand and speak Italian or English, structure of verbal communication and dialogue. 2. Grammar: how to learn grammar basics through simple and effective techniques. 3 Reading and Listening: after every lesson I give out homework to do as revision. These include audio quizzes, reading and writing exercises. It's a challenge to learn another language, so my students tell me, but the satisfaction priceless! Why not try?
