Venezuelan percussionist and drummer. I studied musical preparatory studies at the University Institute of Musical Studies (IUDEM) in Caracas, Venezuela. I studied Professional Musician specialized on Drums and Jazz Percussion at the School of Contemporary Music (Berklee International Network - BIN) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently in the process of studying a Diploma in Music in Composition with the Educanto Foundation (Chile) and Action Dialogue Ecoute (France).
Currently, I am living in Chile, where I have had the opportunity to participate as part of the teaching staff in different educational centers such as: The Puerto Varas Conservatory (COMBAS), Rock Station - Puerto Varas, the School of Latin American Music from Osorno (Santa Cecilia School – Osorno), Balmaceda Arte Joven (Puerto Montt, Chiloé) and some others schools in the area, where I have worked as a Percussion Workshop Teacher.
Throughout my musical career, I have trained in parallel with professionals of various percussion instruments both in Venezuela, Argentina and Chile, among them: Andrés Briceño (Venezuela), Willy Díaz (Venezuela), Luis Tomas García (Venezuela ), Manuel Rangel (Venezuela), Oscar Giunta (Argentina), Fernando Martínez (Argentina), Pablo Díaz (Argentina), Carolina Cohen (Argentina), Gastón Carbajal (Argentina), Alejandro De Marinis (Argentina), Ignacio Colafranchesco (Argentina) , Felix Lecaros (Chile), Lautaro Alvarez (Chile).
Along with teaching, I remain part of different musical groups, keeping active my contact with the zone´s musicians, live music, recording sessions and related work.
