HI! I'm Micaella Digenio, Spanish teacher from Uruguay, currently residing in Argentina. I hold a degree in International Relations from the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay) and a Translation Degree (English/Spanish) from Instituto Superior de Profesorado Almirante Guillermo Brown (Santa Fe, Argentina).
I have been working as a Spanish teacher for more than 12 years, teaching students from different countries and with different interests (seeking conversational practice, preparing for a DELE exam, etc.). I also worked as an English teacher for many years in the past.
To plan my lessons, I always meet the student first for an introductory class in which we get to know each other and I assess their level, and we discuss goals, interests and with that in consideration I prepare the following classes. No matter what the specific goal of my students is, I have one goal that is non-negotiable! Classes must be communication-oriented. That is, whether you want to focus on grammar or any other specific area, by the end of the class you'll be speaking Spanish better!
If you're ok with it, I like us to have classes 100% in Spanish! But don't worry, if you're not feeling confident enough at the beginning, we can always use English for some explanations until you are ready!
Hope to meet you soon!
