I am a Certified Eng<>Spa literary, technical and scientific translator. During my studies, I acquired plenty of knowledge on both languages and their cultures. I have also been teaching languages for many years now. I started with face-to-face English classes in 2011, and in 2018 I switched to online teaching and incorporated Spanish classes. I ended up loving it as I got to meet people from all over the world and was very convenient for both the teacher and the student. By the end of 2018, I was working full time as an online English and Spanish teacher.
Regarding my methodology, I think that SPEAKING is the most important thing when learning a language simply because languages were made to communicate! I like incorporating topics that the student likes, that way the learning process becomes easier and more entertaining. Of course, we will also study Spanish grammar, do writing exercises, and listen to some recordings.
If you are interested in learning something about the culture, I would be glad to teach you Spanish through the various forms of art that we have in our country! As you may know, Argentina is the land of tango, but not just that, its film industry is the most awarded in the Spanish-speaking world, and its national rock music is widely considered as one of the most important and successful non-English rock music there is. We can definitely use these amazing art forms that my country provides and turn them into tools to make the class more fun and enjoyable!
