About me

Hey there! I'm Mateo Restrepo Quiceno. I was born in Connecticut, USA, and moved to Colombia a couple of years ago with my family. I'm a professional translator, graduated from the University of Antioquia, Colombia. I started my journey as a language teacher in 2017. I loved language teaching so much that I decided to do the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course. Because of my childhood in the United States and my professional studies in Colombia, I speak English and Spanish fluently. My degree in translation allows me to know both languages in lexical, syntactic, grammatical and historical aspects. So I am able to conduct grammar centered or communication centered classes
