Hey there, my name is Mario! A certified English teacher and translator, currently based between London, Valencia and Lisbon. Years of experience teaching learners from all over the world including all levels and ages. My focus is on "speaking, listening & writing" my aim is to ignite your imagination, planning lessons that are engaging (according to your learning style and level) and enjoyable. When we learning a new language the teaching style is direct but enjoyable for the learner, I'll use power tools that work wonders with learners such as "Mnemonics", "proverbs", and/or expressions that are an important part of everyday English language. What do I mean by this? Basically, I make the link between English and Spanish words ( and vice-versa), this will create a mental picture to access a fine resource in your mind and mother tongue. We can also use a coursebook or my own resources from other courses that I have designed to teach the English language at private companies. We can use this to review grammar, vocabulary, phrasal verbs, or idioms (phrases) with a culturally understood meaning that differs from what its composite words' denotations would suggest. I have been fortunate to travel the globe and seven seas, so I can guarantee you, we will always have something to talk about.
