Luísa

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Luísa, I am Portuguese, I am 26 years old and I am currently living and studying Music Therapy in Barcelona. I have always studied music in Portugal, but in 2019 I emigrated to Switzerland to complete my first Master degree in Music Performance. I lived in Switzerland for three years, so I also speak a bit of French. After my first Master's degree, I went back to Portugal and dedicated myself to teaching Music Education to children, some of them with special needs, for one year in public schools. The project was very nice and has given me a lot of good things, but Barcelona was calling me and that's why I came here last year to reconcile arts and health. Right now I'm also a babysitter and I'm trying to combine more work, because life in Barcelona demands it. I am a relaxed person, with a great desire to teach! I am sure that our classes will be very dynamic and fun and that there will be many good results :) Classes will be based on dialogue between the student and myself, as this is undoubtedly the best way to learn and progress in a new language. Depending on the age and level of the student, the method of dialogue will vary, as will the exercises practised. Vocabulary, grammar with practical exercises and writing will be worked on. Music is often included during the learning process. Sometimes small practice exercises will be sent to be done between lessons, which will be corrected together with me. I am outgoing, playful, relaxed and willing to teach without pressure or stress. English classes will be up to level B2/C1 and Portuguese classes for all levels.
