Hello! I am Lucia, a bilingual international teacher. I have a B.A. in Social Sciences and I'm a qualified Spanish (ELE) and English (TEFL) teacher. I have been teaching English and Spanish to primary and secondary students as well as adults for many years. I am familiar with the British and American curriculums as well as the International Baccalaureate. I have lived and worked in Spain and abroad, including Ireland, England, Ethiopia, Myanmar and China.I love travelling and learning about other cultures I'll describe myself as a creative and dynamic teacher who can put myself on the student's shoes. I love teaching and learning from students. Before a lesson, I like planning it well, adapting it to students' interests and learning styles. I choose motivating materials to create real communicative situations so that language can be understood and practised in context. I appreciate humour in class, as it helps with little difficulties in language learning. I encourage student autonomy so that s/he can discover the secrets of the language through his/her own observation and reflection. I am convinced you will learn and have lots of fun in this journey.
