Hello! My name is Josh and I from beautiful sunny San Francisco California. After working for 13 years in a fortune 50 company through corporate sales and as a marketing leader I chose to leave America and move to Indonesia to pursue my dream of sharing the gift of English. I am a lover of Art, music, yoga and the ocean. In 2017 I became a certified yoga and breath work instructor and spent the last 6 years traveling around Asia teaching the gift of English and yoga to children and adults. Over the last eight years I have taught over 5000 classes online and in person lessons throughout 4 countries. I hold a bachelors degree in arts and 140 hour TEFEL certification from Entrust Thailand. In addition to my various teaching certifications I hold many awards for my sales accompliments and leadership. I have contributed to helping others increase their sales revenue and expand their customer base domestically and internationally. I believe in a conversational based method, using various materials and articles to help my students build confidence, improve pronunciation and expand their vocabulary, slang and common expressions. My goal as a teacher is to help coach my students into finding a personal connection to the words or expressions while discovering their own voice through English.
