Hey / hola / salut / bom dia! I'm Jass. I've been teaching many years now in different countries around the world, and during this time giving a lot of thought to different teaching techniques - the way that we absorb life, languages, feelings. These classes are here to fuel passion, curiosity, wonder in the learning process with natural and practical conversations - explorations with poetry, films, discussions, philosophy - life and meaning through the realm of English teaching. Connection is incredibly important for me and I would like us to create and keep this. This is not a one way class - the greatest teachers learn a great deal from their students...it comes and goes. I'm a writer, too, and spend much of my time within this, books and foreign films. And the ridiculous pull of the black and white squares of chess. Hiking within forests, deserts, mountains. I travelled for a long time until this strange point in the world - in Patagonia, the jungles of Brazil and Peru, living inside burning hot chilis in Mexico, teacups of Morocco, and a few years in Andalucía to rest up before continuing on this life journey. I've hitchhiked everywhere I've been, and other than my two feet, it's my way of getting around and collecting stories. I speak Spanish very well, but my second language is French The last years I've been learning some Portuguese and a little German too. French is my second language, not used so much now but still working - plus Don't hesitate to contact me, and hope to hear from you soon.
