About me

Language student willing to make you improve so much with this language.

My name is Iolanda and I am an Italian student studying in the UK. After attending the Classical High School courses in Sarzana (SP), in October 2017 I moved to England (more precisely to Colchester) where I have now lived for almost four years. Through an Italian agency, I worked there for a year in a Kenyan family; my job was to take care of two children as I was their au pair. In the meantime in February 2018 I attended English language courses at a Language Academy and achieved the C1 Cambridge level. After almost a year in the UK I decided it was my intention to start a degree there and so I did. Next year I will be graduating in Modern Languages at the University of Essex. I chose this degree in particular because I always thought it could give me the right tools to be connected to the world in general, and then to a very wide work field. I am very passionate and curious about what I am acquiring at the moment but also I am a very dynamic person continuosly willing to discover new concepts. Infact, during the past years at University, I have achieved a B2 level of Spanish and French as well. Through these certifications and following my experience in England, I have decided to help improve or learn languages for those who need it. Since 2019 many students have been able to improve their knowledge thanks to my teaching and the learning methods I proposed.
