10+ years violin teaching experience. Let's get you playing the music of your dreams!
Hi friends!
I have been playing violin since I was 8 years old (for 27 years now). I took private lessons for 20 of those years and was primarily trained using the Suzuki Method. One of my teachers (Geri Arnold) was trained by Mr. Suzuki himself. I can teach using this method if desired, but my own preference is a mix of techniques depending on the desires/needs of each student.
While my career is in Mechanical Engineering (and I also have a degree in Psychology), playing violin has been my great passion since childhood. I have played in orchestras and churches and, professionally, in MANY weddings and various other festivals/events. Since I was 16, I taught middle school students and hobby players of all different ages.
My goal is to get you playing the music of your dreams and to help you solve any frustrations you encounter along the way. I am here to inspire you about what is possible and to guide you to the next levels. I remember the struggles I faced (stage fright, difficult posture, reading music) so I can empathize deeply with students and can help you discover your own solutions, just as I did.
I'm so excited to learn with you! <3

Can't find the availability that suits your needs?
I only did the trial but it was a great experience. Grace helped me set up my violin and even taught me the beginning of twinkle twinkle… in 20 minutes, it’s impressive. I have no prior musical knowledge. Very happy with her, I’ve already bought a pack of classes and look forward to learning with her.
