About me

Native Italian with more than 5 years of experience offers Italian classes

Hi everyone! My name is Giorgia, I have a DEGREE in Foreign Languages from the University of Turin and I am currently studying for a Master's degree in International Communication. I have 5 YEARS of experience teaching online classes with people of ANY AGE: from elementary school to adults. In the first meeting, I usually like to CONSULT with the students to discuss what they like and dislike, how they learn best and how to keep their concentration, so that I can TAILOR THE CLASS TO SUIT THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. I also tend to let the students speak freely, or analyse with them a source they have studied before, or a similar one, so that I can understand the level they are at and what we will need to concentrate on. Usually I find that the students learn best when they study DIFFERENT SOURCES and materials TARGETING THEIR INTERESTS AND GOALS. If the language level allows, I like to give explanations in the target language, so that the student is FULLY IMMERSED. Otherwise, if the student is a beginner or has doubts, I can easily provide explanations in Italian, English, French, German or Japanese. When we do not have class, the students are usually required to REVISE or do some HOMEWORK (always tailored to their individual needs) so that they use their time effectively to strenghten what was previously learnt. I teach to students of ANY AGE AND BACKGROUND. Can't wait to meet you!
