Hi there! If you want to learn or improve your English (all levels), Spanish (all levels), French (upper-intermediate / B2) or Portuguese (Beginners or Pre-Intermediate) - look no further! I have more than 20 years experience teaching pupils and students of all ages in language academies, businesses and more recently, and with great results, online. I am a linguist with a degree in French and Hispanic Studies and PGCE, Post Graduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Modern Foreign Languages. Therefore I understand perfectly what it is like to be a language student, the joys and difficulties we come across and have lots of tricks up my sleeve for overcoming these obstacles. I can offer general language classes or offer exam preparation and also focus the class if you want to learn the language for a specific purpose - work, business or pleasure, for example. My classes are fun and interesting and I always ensure that the student has the satisfaction of having learnt a lot in the class and having practised all of the skills involved in language learning - speaking, reading, writing and listening.

Hello! How are you? If you are looking to improve or perfect your English or want to start from scratch, you have found the perfect person. As you will have seen, my name is Gary and I am a native English teacher from England. I started my journey as a teacher in 1999 when I worked as an English language assistant in a high school in a town in Extremadura. And since then I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for languages to thousands of students - of all ages - from primary children to retired people - and of all levels. What is my method? My main objective is to ensure that you enjoy yourself and feel comfortable during the class, whilst you meet your goals - adapting to your learning needs, your likes and your personality. So, please tell me what you need and I'll tell you how I can help you - general conversation / for travel, preparation for an official exam, practice for your work / an interview, extra support with school work…. My university and professional training is as a linguist and teacher of modern languages - I studied Hispanic studies with Spanish, French and Portuguese and then I did the PGCE - a postgraduate to work as a teacher in the British education system. Thanks to this qualification, I have accumulated more than 20 years of experience working in Spain in private English academies, in companies and for the last 3 years exclusively online. I am perfectly familiar with the format and requirements of the official Cambridge exams, and I have also prepared students for the TOEFL, IELTS, Aptis and Trinity.
