WHY LEARN FRENCH WITH FLEUR? Passionate about foreign languages, teaching and travels, I decided to become a French teacher to work around the world. I have over 12 years experience teaching this language within different education systems and working with international learners in France and abroad. In the Argentinian education system, I had the opportunity to teach French as a foreign language (FLE) in public schools, but I also taught French at the Lycée Français "Jean Mermoz" in Buenos Aires. In the private sphere, I’ve worked at the Alliance Française, as well as within companies, such as Carrefour, Total and Hermès. I currently work as a self-employed teacher in Paris and also online, providing individual and group lessons (language program offered by the Mairie de Paris). I have a lot of experience preparing students for DELF exams (Diploma in French Language Studies) from A1 to C1 and I help them with university courses or professional needs (such as business French). In addition, I propose specific courses to students who want to sit for the TCF exams (for applying for French nationality or residency or studying in France). I really enjoy teaching and I can transmit the enthusiasm my students need to be confident and speak French. I think that learning a language is the result of a co-construction, which is why the student becomes the creator of his own learning under the teacher's supervision. Lessons become a space of sharing and support where the student acquires a language, but also develops a critical, curious and creative spirit. Your progress is my priority so my classes are designed to fully support your language skills development, following your needs and learning style. Then, you’ll understand the structure of this language and you’ll improve your confidence and fluency to use French in real life situations, enjoying the content and the course. Indeed, since the important thing is to communicate your message and to explain yourself, this course is focused on communication. During the lesson, you’ll work on different skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Probably, you’ll make mistakes when you’ll express yourself, but we need them: they will allow us to work on grammar rules and pronunciation and discover new words.
