About me

I am Fernando, a mechanical engineer with 3 years of experience helping students from all over the world achieve their academic goals in mathematics and physics, having the opportunity to teach students of different levels, especially high school and university, and different studies, from engineering to economics. At the moment I mainly offer classes in linear algebra, calculus and mechanical physics, although my idea is to be able to expand this offer in the future. My teaching method is based on trying to make the student understand the fundamental concepts in a natural way whenever possible, in order to make learning a more enjoyable and attractive process. Unfortunately, the traditional teaching format in high schools and universities does not usually give much importance to this, forcing students to memorize ideas and automate procedures with the sole purpose of passing exams. Every time a new student contacts me, I usually ask them about their particular situation with the subject, as well as ask them to provide me with documentation on the theory, exercises and exams from previous years that they have in class.
