Eva and I first met in 2015 when I was interning abroad at The Cloud Forest School, where I took in-person Spanish classes with her. Eva's classes were so memorable that I ended up contacting her 5 years later when I decided to take online Spanish classes. She is an amazing Spanish teacher and she has experience teaching all ages, from preschool to adults. She takes the time to explain grammar rules in detail and is very knowledgeable about the exceptions to the rules. She takes time to learn her students' interests and incorporates them into her classes by picking relevant podcasts and stories to assist with learning. She is a great storyteller herself and is a very engaging conversationalist. She also finds ways to make her classes fun with interactive online activities and games. Her classes involve a great mixture of practicing speaking, writing, reading, and listening in Spanish. She is always looking for additional resources and is always looking for ways to get better and better at teaching. I would recommend her as a teacher to anyone who would like to learn or improve upon their Spanish!

I had a very productive first class with Eva. She used the screen sharing of the app, we "played a game" (did a quiz) with Quizizz on the present tense, we did some conversation, and she id her best to keep me immersed (only using Spanish). I am an older student, and she was very patient and helpful with me. Looking forward to my next 4 classes.
