Hello! My name is Elena. Originally, I'm from Russia, and Russian Language is my native language. For the past six years I've helped students all over the world learn Russian for different purposes and prepared them for passing exams, from children to business professionals.
I have a Master in philological education (Russian Language) and a qualification as a university teacher from the Moscow State Pedagogical University V. I. Lenin. I also have a postgraduate qualification as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language from Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, Moscow.
In 2018, I founded a school of Russian Language and Literature for bilingual children, where I help them preserve their native language, teach World Literature and East Slavic Culture.
I took special courses about methods of teaching Russian language for native and foreign speakers of all levels and ages, studied at a school for writers and screenwriters, and worked for many years as a chief editor for several magazines. All this experience and knowledge allows me to develop my own teaching methodology, create, organize, and systematize education materials for classes, depending on your level and goals.
Despite the fact that as a Russian and Literature teacher, I spend a lot of time with books, I've tried many different activities and hobbies. One of my passions, for example, is flying. I am an ultralight and PPL pilot, and I can fly fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.
