About me

I have been working for over 15 years with students of different ages: preschool and school children, teenagers and adults up to a 75 year old couple. I usually start from the fundamentals of grammar. In general (but it is not a fixed pattern) between one explanation and the next I provide some references and examples to the Italian culture and lifestyle, to give rhythm to the lesson, to avoid boredom and to stimulate questions and interaction with the students. As for conversation lessons, I usually start by asking them to say hello and then ask them what they did or what they will do at the weekend and what they would like to talk about in the conversation lesson. If nothing happens, I use the conversational dialogue book to stimulate debate. We can also read newspapers, magazines, play with small children or watch videos and then talk about it. As for homework, depending on the lesson, I usually assign them exercises related to the topic of the grammar lesson, I ask them to rewrite the new words that emerge during the conversation twice and for the conversation lesson I ask them to prepare a speech and pronounce it It. I usually don't assign too many tasks.
