¡Hola! ¡Mi nombre es Camila Mulero, pero mis amigos me llaman Kimi! Tengo un B.Sc. en Psicología con mención en Lenguas Extranjeras, y actualmente estoy cursando una Maestría en Educación en Consejería Profesional. Tengo una verdadera pasión por ayudar a los demás, pero también me apasionan los idiomas y enseñarlos. Del mismo modo, recientemente comencé a enseñar en línea, pero he estado en el juego de tutoría durante más de 4 años, trabajando como especialista en educación para los servicios de tutoría de mi propia universidad. Brindé instrucción privada en línea a individuos y grupos de estudiantes para mejorar el rendimiento académico en biología, psicopatología, psicología, español e inglés. Hello! My name is Camila Mulero, but my friends call me Kimi! I have a B.Sc. in Psychology with a major in Foreign Languages, and I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education in Professional Counseling. I have a real passion for helping others, but I am also passionate about languages and teaching them. Similarly, I recently started teaching online, but have been in the tutoring game for over 4 years now, working as an education specialist for my own university tutoring services. Provided private online instruction to individuals and groups of students to improve academic performance in biology, psychopathology, psychology, Spanish, and English. Additionally, I collaborated with teachers to determine student needs or assess progress, increasing the success rate in class by over 50%. Now, as an online Spanish tutor, I teach study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies, and assess students' progress throughout the teaching and tutoring sessions.
I believe that everyone is unique and has something special that they can bring to their own education. I will help my students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as accept the differences of others. Each classroom has its own unique community; my role as a teacher will be to help each person develop their own potential and learning styles. I will present a curriculum that will incorporate each different learning style, as well as make the content relevant to students' lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that engages and activates student learning.
