About me

15 years of experience in tutoring German in English. Certified translator.

I am a native German speaker and I teach German online. I like to use entertaining stories that have been written in German for English native speakers (beginners as well as advanced students) to introduce new vocabulary and grammar. Depending on your background, I will add grammar theory and exercises as needed. My teaching style is flexible and your input is very welcome! Suggest your own topics of your interest. I have covered many varied topics upon request (the news, music, human anatomy,….). I also assist students with their assignments, prepare them for tests and help them improve their grades. I aim to quickly identify what the student is struggling with, and look for alternative ways to explain the topic.
