Playing an instrument can only enrich you in many aspects. My task is to pass on my knowledge to you and above all to provide you with an effective and fun method to approach the study of music through the saxophone.
Degree in classical sax, in Jazz arranging and in Jazz Saxophone, I have been studying and playing Jazz for many years but I have always hated gender stereotypes and I have always played in the most disparate formations, ranging from Jazz Orchestras to quartets, from Jazz standards to funk to bands Balkan Gipsy-Punk. My method is based on the experience acquired on stage and on everything I learned from the great teachers I was lucky enough to meet during my studies inside and outside the Conservatory.
There are no age or musical level limits as I believe it is essential to create personalized study plans depending on the musical knowledge and interests of each student, always following a clear methodology and common guidelines.
I have a classical training which allows me to identify the most common errors and give practical and direct advice on how to deal with the obstacles that it is natural to encounter when studying the Saxophone (as with any instrument) from a technical and interpretative point of view. I have a jazz background and I try to convey (where possible) the great interest in improvised music by stimulating the curiosity and creativity of the students.
Available for preparation of pre-academic courses or for preparation of Conservatory exams.
I prefer a practical approach as I believe that music, being first of all a language, needs to be listened to and practiced in order to internalize all those elements that are as essential as they are impossible to transmit in an analytical-rational way. However, during my lessons I also usually introduce theoretical, analytical and historical notes, in order to give greater completeness in the study of the piece in question. Whatever your final goal is (from a Conservatory degree to studying some pieces as a simple hobby) my task will be to give you all the possible means to improve while having fun!
