He enseñado desde los quince años, en que inicié la enseñanza musical para niños. En mi vida profesional como ingeniera ambiental y profesional en seguridad y salud en el trabajo, he mantenido la docencia como actividad permanente. Me gusta dar mis clases a través de historias, que con humor y juego dejen enseñanzas, sea para niños o para adultos. Enseño biología, educación ambiental, respuesta a emergencias, química, español, biodiversidad, consumo responsable, desarrollo sostenible, ecología, y otros temas relacionados con las ciencias ambientales. El uso de herramientas virtuales para hacer tests a modo de juego, la ilustración de temas a través de videos e imágenes y una narrativa sencilla hacen parte de la dinámica de mis clases. El abordaje de los temas implica entender las causas y orígenes de cada fenómeno o evento estudiado, para que el pensamiento lógico y la inferencia nos lleven a los datos que se requiere almacenar. Nunca memorizamos por repetición. Lo que nos aburre, rápidamente se borra de nuestras mentes. Me encanta fomentar la lectura crítica, por lo que mis clases tendrán siempre referencia a matwrial de lectura para ser analizado posteriormente en las sesiones. La evaluación de conocimientos para verificar la preparación del alumno en un tema determinado, la realizo a través de cuestionarios online. En el caso de enseñanza para empresas, definimos un objetivo de aprendizaje y se evalúa el porcentaje de cumimiento de dicho objericvo a través de los formularios virtuales, relacionando el número de personas con los resultados ontenidos en el ejercicio.
