Hi! My name is Matheson. I’m from the beautiful island of Barbados but currently living in Guyana, and I am a Native English Speaker. At High School level I gained certificates in both English Language and English Literature and I have my associate degree in Computer Studies. I have also done a 160 hour course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and have obtained my TEFL certificate. My teaching methods are fun and interactive.In working with you I will make sure your pronunciation is correct, we will work on grammar, and sentence structure. Conversation is one of the best ways to learn a new language. So rather than boring dictation drills, we will focus on using the new vocabulary in practical ways. I can also speak Mandarin Chinese and have experience in teaching it at Beginners and Intermediate level. On a personal level, I do volunteer work helping persons learn about God and the Bible. I love music, I love dancing , and I love to laugh , so I look forward to working with you on this new and exciting journey of learning a new language. See you soon!
