When I was in university I decided to study French. I was so scared and nervous before my classes that I almost quit the program. But when I managed to overcome my block and reached conversational level, I knew I wanted to help others do the same in my native language and I accepted my first teaching position at the International Student Center at my university.
🔹My Lessons🔹
Nowadays, I work exclusively kids, teenagers and beginners. My classes are all conversation-focused and are designed to encourage you to spend the majority of the time speaking. I believe it's very important to engage in new and unfamiliar topics instead of just repeating the same things you already know. You will always leave class with a detailed summary of your errors, a review task, and the theme for the next lesson. If you are a busy person, don't worry, I always ensure that my classes are low or no-prep in case you don't have a lot of time outside of class to study.
I integrate many different resources depending on the student’s needs and learning style including podcasts, articles, music, videos, and audiobooks. Even when we need to learn some grammar or structure, I always focus on making sure that the student knows how to use that element in a real-life scenario. However, I always remind my students that our classes are “a two-way street”, meaning that I will frequently check in with you to make sure you are satisfied with the lessons. I stay very flexible in my approach, in case you want to try something new.

Mas aun en estos momentos donde las personas necesitan hacer algo fructuoso, y a su vez practicar su inglés, me gustaría proponer un corto taller de “manualidades basado en reciclaje con plástico que tenemos en casa”, luego enseñar a nuevos adultos como hacer una Medusa de plástico reciclado en casa.
