Hello everyone! My name is Pearl, a dedicated English tutor excited to embark on her teaching journey. I am from the beautiful country of diamonds and wildlife, Botswana. Words cannot describe my obsession for languages and cross-cultural communication as I get to meet and learn from other nationalities. Despite lacking formal teaching experience, my passion for helping others learn English knows no bounds. With a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) Degree in Broadcasting and Journalism and fierce interest in second language acquisition, I have spent years polishing my English proficiency through immersive experiences, both academically and in the corporate world. Being a journalist has equipped me with special skills like patience and charisma as I get to meet a lot of people with different characters from all over the world. This profession has also taught me how to sharpen and master English language in ways that I can teach others with no hesitation. I understand the power of a comfortable learning environment and therefore support an environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and make mistakes. I encourage a sense of trust and mutual respect, establishing myself not just as a tutor but as a mentor and guide to my students. I may be new, but my dedication and passion are overflowing.
