Hello Everyone I`m Mojela Petrus, I have completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Limpopo (UL), and currently, I`m pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specializing in Science and Mathematics. I have also taken short courses in education and research including a TEFL Certificate. I have four years of experience teaching in online and live classrooms. I was an English teacher at an online platform called Italki which provided me with an opportunity on how to be a teacher. For the past three years, I have been a tutor at the University, tutoring both Science and Mathematics. My teaching style is student-centered because it focuses on learners' needs, interests, and abilities. Students are encouraged to take an active role in the learning process, through hands-on experiences, discussions, and collaborative work. A teacher will provide guidance, support, and feedback, rather than being the sole authority. This approach brings creativity, leading to deeper understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
