Hello! I'm Basia from Maseru, Lesotho. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Mathematics and Physics, and I've been passionate about teaching for as long as I can remember.
What sets me apart from other teachers is my dedication to making learning an engaging and enjoyable experience. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and my mission is to help them discover their strengths and overcome any challenges they may face.
In my classes, I use a variety of teaching methods to keep things interesting and to cater to different learning styles. I love incorporating technology into my lessons to make concepts more accessible and interactive. Whether it's through hands-on experiments, interactive simulations, or real-world applications, I strive to make math and physics come alive for my students.
I've had the pleasure of teaching students from middle school to high school, and I've also conducted online classes for university students. My experience includes participating in the Basic Education Support Project (BESP) offered by the University of Free State, where I learned modern strategies for teaching using technology. This has greatly enhanced my ability to create dynamic and effective lesson plans.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, reading, or exploring new technologies. These activities keep me energized and bring a fresh perspective to my teaching.
