I prefer a smooth learning curve, making learning more interesting with real use case and effective motivation: learning to randomly push buttons is not useful, while thinking outside the box not only is much more valuable but also makes the actual button pushing more fun ;) I'm open to uni students, newcomers to the field or the next big social media inventor: whoever wants to learn a method built on the field by someone who didn't like studying repetitively but neither hopelessly throwing himself into tasks.

About me: Hello I'm Matt, an Ex-Abbey Road Studios in-house Recording and Mixing Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience. Here I'm looking to bridge my two worlds together by helping musicians with their underlying emotions and how creativity can be nurtured and encouraged through this process. When tutoring, I integrate these complimentary forces to provide an experience that is nurturing, supportive and tailored to you. Tutoring experience: I have been tutoring online one-to-one lessons since leaving Abbey Road Studios about 2 years ago. I mainly work in Pro Tools or Ableton Live. Whilst most of the principles I teach are universal, I have found that sessions work better when we are speaking the same DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) language. That being said I have had fruitful teaching experiences with tutees working in Logic, FL Studio etc. I primarily use Zoom along with screen sharing and real-time audio streaming software.
