Classgap will act as the conduit to share my skills to the larger society and impart my knowledge of maths to kids in their elementary School. I cannot wait to have my first students in here to see their smiles as I take them through the journey of exploring mathematics at a young age. I have a personal experience to share and that is I wasn't so great in math until my class teacher in Primary 5 discovered my struggle and helped me through. To this day I owe her my gratitude of being the one to make me the great math hero i am today. This has fostered in me the belief that a child can be made to understand and conquer the fear of math if mentored by a dedicated and passionate math tutor. I found out later in life that what set my math mentor apart from others was her passion for the subject and that's what I intend to bring to the table when teaching my kids. More so making my pupils understand that math is logical and therefore they need to tap into their inner selves in order to fully embrace math and conquer the trepidation that most people grapple with when solving math. I believe that my journey in fully embracing and loving math from a place of struggle makes me the best fit for any child that is finding it difficult to grasp the concept of math. Keeping the children engaged will eventually unlock their inner math skills and launch them into smart and confident whizkids in no time.
