Hello, I'm teacher Kelly and I'm a native English speaker from the UK. I completed my TEFL in Asia and have over 7 years teaching experience with kids and adults from a combination of working in schools and also online. My students tell me I have a clear and easy neutral accent that is easy to understand. They often comment on my relaxed and fun energy in my lessons. When working with children I create vibrant and interactive lessons that include phonics, writing & reading. After each class a worksheet or activity can be given. When working with adults I also like to create engaging lessons. Learning grammar is stressful and I like to focus more on conversation and simplified explanations. We learn about phrasal verbs, idioms and lots of other things a new learner should need to be able to understand and speak like a native. As a teacher I believe it is important to make the students feel comfortable and give them a safe space to learn and not to be afraid to make mistakes. Learning a new language is not easy it takes time and dedication, I understand this and try to build the students confidence as much as possible. I wanted to improve my speaking english and Kelly focused my classes on what I needed. She offered topics that really interested me, so with some classes, I feel that I have gained fluency and confidence :)

I have studied with Kelly for the last few months and I really enjoy her classes so much. The classes and conversations with her are funny and interesting, I think It is a good combination to learn new vocabulary and improve the language.

Couple of weeks teaching my 10 year old child and he is really happy. Kelly has a clear accent and easy going way to teach. She keeps him motivated through the class and chooses topics she knows he will be interested in. We are really satisfied with her online classes.
