I am delighted to introduce myself to you. My name is Rūta Sokolnikienė, and I hail from the beautiful country of Lithuania. However, for the past eight years, Finland has been my home, and it is here that I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for singing with students from diverse backgrounds.
With a career spanning 15 years in the realm of international singing lessons, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. My journey as a singing instructor has taken me on a remarkable path, connecting me with aspiring vocalists not only in Lithuania and Finland but also in England. This multicultural exposure has enriched my teaching style, allowing me to adapt and cater to the unique needs and aspirations of each student.
In 2020, I graduated from the Professional Teacher Training program at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. This educational milestone equipped me with the pedagogical tools and insights necessary to nurture the talents of budding singers effectively.
My educational journey also includes a Bachelor's degree in Popular music performance, which I completed in 2014 at the renowned ICMP in London. This program provided me with a solid foundation in music theory, performance, and vocal techniques. The multicultural environment of London broadened my horizons and exposed me to various musical genres, which I integrate into my teaching approach today.
To stay at the forefront of vocal pedagogy, I embarked on a transformative journey in 2021-2022, attending The LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ Levels I, II and III. Furthermore, in July 2023, I attended the Soul Ingredients Level I - Intro to Methodology course, as part of The LoVetri Institute, where I continued to expand my expertise in the art of teaching singing in CCM styles.
Currently, I offer private singing lessons both in Finland and through remote instruction. This flexibility allows students from various locations to access my guidance and expertise, ensuring that geographical boundaries do not limit your musical growth.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and nurturing environment where you can explore and express your unique voice.
